PRIVACY

What we collect, what we do not, and why. In plain language.

Tadele Teen Talks is a small, teen-run publication. We are not an advertising business and we have nothing to gain from collecting information about you, so we collect as little as we can get away with. This page says exactly what that is, in plain language.

If you just read the site, we store nothing on your device

No cookies. No local storage. Nothing that follows you between visits or between websites. There is no cookie banner on this site because there is nothing to consent to.

What we do collect

Anonymous page statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see which stories people read and roughly where in the world they are. It does not use cookies, it does not build a profile of you, and it cannot follow you to other sites. We only ever see totals — never "this person read this story".

Your email address, but only if you type it in. If you subscribe to the newsletter, we store the address you give us and nothing else. We use it to send you Tadele Teen Talks and for nothing else. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it.

A scrambled note of your network address, briefly. When someone subscribes, our database records a one-way scrambled version of the network (IP) address the request came from, so that a bot cannot flood the list with junk. It is scrambled with a secret value, so it cannot be turned back into a list of visitors, and it is deleted automatically after two days. We never store the address itself.

What we never do

We do not sell or share your information. We do not run advertising or advertising trackers. We do not build profiles of readers. We do not try to work out who you are.

Other companies involved in running the site

Running a website means other companies handle some of the traffic. These are the only ones, and they each see only what they need:

Your age

Tadele Teen Talks is written by and for people roughly 13 to 21. Please do not subscribe to the newsletter if you are under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child under 13 has given us their email address, write to us at the address below and we will delete it.

Getting your email address removed

Email feroomon10400@gmail.com and ask us to remove you. We will, and we will not ask why. You can also ask us what we hold about you — for almost everyone, the honest answer is "one email address and nothing else".

Changes to this page

If we start collecting something new, we will say so here and change the date at the bottom. We are not going to change this quietly.
